It\u2019s like \u201cI\u00a0ain\u2019t\u00a0in the mood if I\u00a0ain\u2019t\u00a0in my bag. Like a feeling like nice.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nAre you feeling nice? In the zone? At one with what you\u2019re doing? You\u2019re in your bag. Are you sad, down in the dumps, feeling crappy? Note the caption: Did her hair. Gas her up y\u2019all. Gas up, a slang phrasal verb.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cGas me up\u201d means compliment me?\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nYeah.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nOh yeah.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nInteresting because gas also means farts.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nRight.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nWhich is why that one\u2019s very rude.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nBut it\u2019s like Gas me up is like hype me up.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nOkay.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nGive you confidence.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nDon\u2019t sleep on me.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nGas me up, hype me up, make me feel good about myself.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nGas has a lot of meanings. If something is a gas, that\u2019s an old-fashioned way to say \u201cA good time\u201d.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cOh, we had such a gas at your party!\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nLike I said, this one is old-fashioned, use with caution. Gas is short for gasoline and in the US, we use that for what we put in our car, fuel. It\u2019s also one of the states of matter along with solid, liquid and plasma. But in that\u00a0clip\u00a0I also mentioned it\u2019s when air builds up in your body, ugh, it doesn\u2019t feel so good and well, you fart.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nGas her up means compliment her.\u00a0 I was told that gas means great. Earlier that week, my nephew Ian made a chocolate cake that was perfect.
